Federation calendar 2026:
all the key dates to note (and how to use them without messing up)
The 2026 season is packed: big federation events, CNC finals, youth, Coupe de France… Here, you've got a "quick reference" guide + a ultra-clear recap to plan your year without hunting down 12 PDFs elsewhere. (see link 1) (see link 2) (see link 3)
The "Federation" dates CNC (Open / Women / Veterans / Youth) Coupe de France: a weekend not to missFirst of all What this calendar covers (and what it doesn't)
On this page, I list the federation highlights (the dates everyone watches), and I explain how to read the calendar without confusion between: FFPJP events, CNC finals, and the rest. (see link 1) (see link 2)
- Yes here: Coupe de France (Grand 8), Trophée des Pépites, CNC finals (Veterans / Youth / Open / Women), Circuit National Jeunes final. (see link 1)
- Separate (and variable): departmental/league calendars (local tournaments), announced by the committees. (see link 3)
- PETANQUELAND goal: give you the "unmissable" dates + a method so you never again say "oh no, it was this weekend".
The 6 key dates The federation calendar 2026 in 30 seconds
Here's the hard core : the federation events that structure the season. (see link 1)
- 14–15 February 2026 : Coupe de France des clubs final (Grand 8). (see link 1)
- 18–19 October 2026 : Trophée des Pépites (young talents). (see link 1)
- 20–22 October 2026 : CNC Veterans final. (see link 1)
- 23–25 October 2026 : CNC Youth final. (see link 1)
- 20–22 November 2026 : CNC Open & Women finals. (see link 1)
- December 20, 2026 : Circuit National Jeunes final (season finale). (see link 1)
If you only remember one thing: February for the clubs, October-November for the CNC finals, December for the youth.
(see link 1)How to use it How to "read" the calendar like a referee (not like a tourist)
The classic pitfall is confusing: federation events (nationals / finals / trophies), and local calendars (committee, sector, tournaments). In short: the federation gives you the milestones, the committee gives you the day-to-day. (see link 1) (see link 3)
- Step 1: block out the 6 key dates above in your diary.
- Step 2: check your committee/league for qualifiers and tournaments near you. (see link 3)
- Step 3: add your goals: 2–3 big weekends + 4–6 "fun" tournaments.
- Mistake to avoid: loading up in June/July, then discovering the CNC finals in October… and cancelling everything.
• List A = "I don't miss"
• List B = "if I can"
The federation calendar is mainly for locking in List A. (see link 1)
Focus Why October-November 2026 is going to be "the nerve-racking month"
October 2026 is the tunnel: Pépites then CNC finals back to back. If you're a player, coach, official, or just a supporter, this is where your organisation plays out: travel, hotel, logistics, availability. (see link 1)
Why is it so intense?Because the events follow one another across several weekends and categories.
(see link 1) The right reflex
You plan ahead early (transport / accommodation / time off) and you check the organisers' official announcements.
(see link 1) (see link 3)
To remember What you need to do now (simple, effective)
- 1) Add to your diary: 14–15 February, 18–25 October, 20–22 November, 20 December. (see link 1)
- 2) Open the federation calendar and spot what concerns your profile (club / youth / veterans). (see link 2)
- 3) Complete it with your committee: local tournaments + qualifiers. (see link 3)
- 4) If you play in a team: plan ahead for the "club" dates (Coupe / CNC). (see link 1)
